The world of video wall technology continues to expand at a rapid pace, and the recently announced partnership between Trenton and Matrox Graphics introduces a new paradigm shift in the creation of video wall controllers.  Trenton’s Matrox-certified TVC 4401 video wall controller, which supports up to six Matrox Mura MPX Series video controller boards, delivering up to 24 HD video inputs and outputs within a single rackmount system, represents the first of many Matrox-certified video wall controllers.

The TVC 4401 is a 4U rackmount computer with 20″ depth that represents a turn-key solution capable of driving a 24 cube video display wall using multiple x16 PCI Express Gen 2 interfaces.

Mounting for up to 8 hot-swap, front-access 2.5″ SATA hard drives will satisfy storage intensive applications.  Backed by Trenton’s unsurpassed US technical support, the TVC4401 video wall controller can be deployed in a wide range of applications, including:

  • Command & Control Centers
  • Security Surveillance Facilities
  • Manufacturing Process Control
  • Network Operations Centers
  • Digital Signage Installations
  • Transportation Management
  • Smart Grid Control Systems

“Trenton is an ideal partner to provide fully-integrated hardware systems that feature the Matrox Mura technology,” said Samuel Recine, Director of Sales – Americas and Asia Pacific, Matrox Graphics Inc. “Mura-based video wall processors will be used in diverse market segments ranging from control rooms to board rooms, and from collaboration applications to digital signage applications.”

The product road map for additional video wall controllers includes a low-profile shelfmount solution, as well as a 2U rackmount computer designed for space constrained applications and a 5U rackmount computer that supports up to 17 Matrox Mura MPX Series video controller boards and also features PowerDesk Edge Overlap technology.

Whether your video wall controller needs involve government & defense, industrial automation or energy transmission management, Trenton can create a customer-driven solution that meets your exact requirements.  Contact us at 800.875.6031 or 770.287.3100 to discuss your video needs.
