While Trenton’s TVC4403 rackmount video wall controller can accommodate up to 10 Matrox Mura MPX Series video controller boards and drive up to 40-cube video display walls, there are many applications where the LCD panel count is much lower and the video wall controller needs to be mounted outside a rack environment. That’s where the TVC3400 shelfmount video wall controller is the ideal solution.
The TVC3400 is a low-profile, shelfmount (or wallmount) video wall controller which features Trenton’s JXMS7031 MicroATX embedded motherboard. The TVC3400 is a turnkey, Matrox Validated solution that supports up to two Matrox Mura MPX Series boards and benefits from an innovative enclosure design that allows the system to be mounted in different orientations within space-constrained locations.
The Matrox Mura MPX Series video controller boards feature a unique design that supports both video outputs and inputs as well as Matrox PowerDesk Edge Overlap technology to provide seemless image viewing. Powered by an Intel Xeon C5500 quad-core processor, the embedded motherboard features include PCI Express 2.0/1.1 interface support, dual front access hot-swap 2.5″ drive carriers and a pair of gigabit ethernet connections – all packed in a lightweight, yet rugged, aluminum enclosure.
“The Trenton TVC3400 is ideal for digital signage and corporate boardroom environments where rackmounts are not an option,” said Helgi Sigurdsson, Product Manager, Matrox Graphics Inc. “Compact in design, this new shelfmount system features Mura single-slot, input/output boards that enable AV professionals with advanced capture and display capabilities to overachieve on any small- to mid-sized video wall installation.”
Beyond video display wall applications, this compact video computing solution can also be used within command & control centers and a wide range of industrial automation environments.
